About the Workshop
This is a five day workshop consisting of multiple topics and training sessions taught within each day. The workshop is grounded around the use of Chromebooks and Google Apps, but also reaches out into other technologies that are commonly used in the classroom in addition to organizational and analytical technology tools.
The hope of creating this Technology Training Plan is that by the end of the workshop, all staff members who work directly with students in the classrooms will have a thorough understanding of the benefits of using Chromebooks and the accompanying Google Apps for Education. These staff members will also be able to implement the use of these technologies into their classrooms to provide a successful learning environment for their students.

- Exercise the general functions of the Chromebook
- Know and be able to use the general functions of Google Drive and the most common Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms), as well as understand the benefits
- Integrate Google Apps for Education into their daily teaching practices
- Create multimedia resources to use with instruction
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance planning, instruction, communication and overall teaching practices through Google resources
- Utilize digital tools to keep collective student data
- Customize and differentiate lessons based on student need using technology
