Prerequisite Knowledge:
Participants must have a basic knowledge of how to use a computer/laptop and of what Google Drive is. Learners must also be familiar with the county curriculum for whatever grade(s) they work with.
Content:
Participants will be able to create files using Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms. Participants will learn how to use the basic functions of these programs and learn how to manipulate each type of file format or program to best suit their needs.

How will this workshop be taught?
There will be a total of four sessions on day 2, with Docs and Sheets in the first half and Slides and Forms in the second half. Each individual session will involve the following:
This workshop will be taught using digital tools using the Promethean Board and Chromebooks to demonstrate how to access and create files within the different programs. Today’s workshop sessions will also involve learners participating in collaborative small group discussions as well as whole group discussions to analyze ways that each program could be used with students as well as with colleagues. After each new program introduction and teacher modeling of how to create the resource, then learners will return to their Chromebooks to create their own versions. Learners will be able to create their files according to their individual curriculum and student needs to be utilized immediately in their teaching practices.
In all sessions, learners will be given the option to work with others in the training to collaboratively create files based on content area, grade level, or other educational characteristics.

- Promethean Board connected to Chromebook or Desktop
