Online Gradebook
Prerequisite Knowledge:
Participants must have a basic knowledge of how to use a computer/laptop. Learners must also be familiar with the county curriculum for whatever grade(s) they work with.
Content:
This training will have two separate sessions. The morning session will be on Evernote and the afternoon will be about the Online Gradebook system. For the Evernote training session, learners will learn the general functions of Evernote and how to use this specific technology app/ resource to collect and gather student data and other notes in one place.
For the Online Gradebook training session, teachers and specialists will be able to use the basic functions of the Online Gradebook to input and analyze student data. Learners will also learn how to generate different reports using the gradebook to show various data to later analyze it and use to adapt instruction.

How will this workshop be taught?
For the Evernote training session, the instructor will introduce Evernote and show a tutorial video for learners explaining the basic features of the program. The instructor will explain more in depth with examples through interactive lecture the components of Evernote and how to operate it. The instructor will model using the Promethean board how to create an individual note, a notebook, and a note within a notebook. Learners will participate in shared discussion about how they could use Evernote in their professional setting and even as a personal tool. Learners will use their individual Chromebooks to download the app and then create at least one notebook with at least one note in it. For the Online Gradebook training, the instructor will introduce the Online Gradebook system and how to access it using the Promethean board. The instructor will have a demo class so that learners can visualize how they are to use it with their actual students. The training instructor will model through interactive lecture and discussion how to create assignments, input grades, and how to score different measurement topics. Then, the instructor will also model how to run grade reports using those inputted grades to look at class data, missing assignments, missing measurement topics, and other features that can be gathered using reports. Learners will use their Chromebooks to access the Online Gradebook and run these multiple reports on their own students and classes. Learners will participate in shared discussion about why the Online Gradebook reports are beneficial and how they can be used to analyze student data.

- Learners will be able to analyze student grade reports to influence instruction
